Let’s be transparent and talk about my day!

As you all know, I give myself the #benlysta injection every Sunday. As a result, Monday is always a day of rest for me.
~
Today has been very difficult. Although I have taken the injection for months now, this time was different. I am experiencing an ongoing, red, raised rash that does go away as long as Benadryl is in my system, pain, nausea, etc. more than usual. I have truly struggled. Where these symptoms have been present in the past, this time they are 10x worse than before.
~
I’m not sure why this time was so rough, but isn’t that how Lupus is anyway?! One moment you are doing ok and the next, you’re sick as a dog. There isn’t a rhyme or reason for the drastic, sudden change, but it still happens!🤷🏽‍♀️

This is our reality! I know it doesn’t make sense, but it is our truth! We don’t understand it either; however, we have to live it and attempt to keep going. Welcome to our reality!!!!
