When stress is at an all time high it is very important to pause and think. Pause right there in that moment. Ask yourself some questions.
Is my stressing going to have a positive impact on anything?
What is the root cause of my stress?
What does the big picture look like?
Reality is, most times we stress about things we can’t control. We have to learn to let go of the things we can’t control and focus on the things we can control.
We can control ourselves. We can control our breathing. If we take deep breaths and exhale slowly we will calm ourselves. We can control our thoughts. We can decide to think of the positive things happening in our lives versus the negative. We can control who we allow in our space. If someone is detrimental to our peace we can choose to stay away from them.
