Saving Your Energy

We as people tend to expend energy on many things in our lives causing us to stress. When things come up we automatically react and respond immediately. This causes stress to our mental and physical state. Sometimes we use up all of our energy responding and then don’t have the energy to find a solution to the situation.

If we took the time to pause and clearly think without responding we would save more energy, time, heartache and pain.

I don’t know about you, but I don’t have a lot of energy to just give away to stress. I need all of the energy I can get. Because of this, I have had to change how I deal with things. I have had to learn to stop reacting immediately and to take a deep breath and think for a moment.

I ask myself these questions:

Is this worth my energy?

What is the big picture?

Will my reaction change the outcome in a positive way?

In my experience, after answering these questions, I have been able to save so much energy.

Why don’t you try it and see how much energy you will save and watch things in your life change for the good…
